|Shamed by your English? - Classic Comic Book Ads|

A gem. How can you go wrong with "countless numbers of intelligent men and women who are being held back in their jobs and social lives, often without knowing it, because they cannot express themselves fully and easily."
A great service though and a fantastic ready made audience. I guess in 2002 the ad would still aimed at the comic book demographic - along with the wrestling, monster-truck and reality game show audiences.
This ad was parodied in the 1993 silver
age-esque comic series "1963", by Alan Moore, Stephen Bissette
and Rick Veitch, as Shamed by You English?
